Epicurean Society

The Providence Epicurean Scholarship Society, established in 2015, is a special gathering of friends of the university who meet for culinary demonstrations and dining while supporting our students with scholarships. Our next dinner, planned for November 30, 2021, will feature Tyler Florence '94, '04 Hon., chef, restauranteur, television personality, producer and cookbook author as well as two-time James Beard Award nominee for Best Chef West Coast.

As a benefactor of the Society, your membership will provide financial aid to our students, recognize the accomplishments of alumni, and share the communal spirit of fine cuisine and lifelong learning. Join us today!

The membership fee of $2,500 may be paid in full or split into two semi-annual payments of $1,250.

Johnson & Wales University is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization. The amount of your contribution that is deductible for tax purposes is limited to the excess of your contribution over the value of the goods and services that were provided to you in conjunction with this gift. We estimate the fair market value of these goods and services to be $175 per person or $350 per couple.
