Capital Support
JWU has four campuses covering hundreds of acres, and we strive to keep our academic facilities efficient and cutting-edge, our residences comfortable and safe, and our public spaces lovely and inviting. In each of our four locations —Providence, RI, North Miami, Fla., Denver, Colo. and Charlotte, NC — we have partnered with the cities to stimulate community growth and serve as an active participant in neighborhood revitalization. This commitment to developing campuses that serve both our students and our communities sets JWU apart in every city we call home.
Current capital projects include the new Cuisinart Center for Culinary Excellence in Providence; key energy conservation measures and walkway improvements in Miami; the new Wildcat Center for student activities and the restoration of historic Treat Hall in Denver; and ongoing classroom enhancements at our newest campus in Charlotte. Two of our recent renovation projects won accolades from the Providence Preservation Society.
By enhancing the JWU student experience, we strengthen our students’ potential — and this can only happen if we keep improving, expanding, and updating each campus. Your participation in a capital project will help us realize our vision. For convenience, you can make your gift online.
Currently, the university has a variety of ongoing facilities- and technology-related capital projects. To see more about capital projects and naming opportunities at your campus of interest, visit our locations in Providence, North Miami, Denver and Charlotte.
